Jack shaft with a drive belt

I have just learned recently about jackshafts. I have a 100cc on a Mongols mountain bike. I am also bout to use a belt drive, does anyone have any experience with these? What is your opinion with it and do you think it is a good idea to go this route?

Are you wanting something similar to a Whizzer build? You may want to chain form the engine to the jackshaft. Then belt from the jackshaft to the wheel pulley.
