Is it possible to fabricate a new bracket without welding?

So I have one of those MZ65 clone pipes that has that bracket that bolts to the side of the clutch cover. My problem is where the bolt goes through the bracket that part snapped off. Is there a way I can fix it so I can bolt it to side of clutch cover again without having to buy a new pipe just because of that? Thanks for any help!

Buy a welder!! Get a 220v wire feed machine with flux core wire. I built all my bikes without gas. Sure you can make a new bracket and bolt it to the old one. Or you can cut the old crap off and weld a new one on. Get a friend with a welder and start learning the basics of fabrication then get your own welder if cost is a problem.

I'll post up a pic here today. Regarding the welder..... I would get one but money is really tight right now. I have some JB Weld. Will that be strong enough to hold on a bracket? I think what happened was the constant vibration of the motor caused it to stress crack.

Here's some pics for a visual guys.

JB weld isn't gonna work, don't try it
I'm having a hard time believing you don't know how to fab a flat bar bracket,
Since I can't see the top half of the bracket in your pic, I assume it's just a flat bracket that bolts onto a muffler strap

So here's an easy fix for ya,
Get another length of flat bar. Cut and drill a couple holes in it to match your broken bracket

Or just use an existing flat bracket ya find at the hardware store and bolt it onto your existing bracket to make a short extension.

Yeah unfortunately I have no experience fabricating stuff. But would be willing to learn. If I'm lucky, I'll check the ACE Hardware store up the street to see if maybe they would have something that would work. But Wrench I'll try your idea and see what I can come up with. Btw, is this a common problem with these brackets that come with these pipes?

I concur the Wrench... Find a small piece of metal & drill a couple of holes to bolt it together to make a small extension on the bracket. (^)
