Internals sticking

I have 66 motor. Everything has been assembled on bike 2 days ago. Clutch is adjusted to max. Problem is when I engage clutch nothing is moving inside. I took head of tapped piston ( gently). Engaged clutch moved back wheel and got piston to move two stroke then it stuck again, and keeps getting stuck. So any help on this would literally be awesome.

Check your chain tension. A too loose chain can bind around the drive sprocket and bunch up in the clutch actuator cover. That will lock the rear wheel and the crankshaft, if the clutch is engaged.

1/2" to 3/4" of chain slack is where you want to be. If the chain isn't the issue get back to us here. We'll try some other things.

If the chain is not the cause, pull the plug and make sure it does not hit the piston. If everything is okay, pull the head and make sure the piston does not hit the gasket or head.
Might be a mis-match engine with clearance problems.
I've seen one with the piston pin location wrong before.
