I'm new to motor biking

I just recently put a motor on my son's old mountain bike and it works just fine. My problem is that I like to ride up on the hills on old mining roads and find the bike very uncomfortable to ride with the seat height and the low position of the handlebars. I'm not tall and prefer to be closer to the ground. My question: would I be better off with a 24 inch cruiser type bike or a 26 inch with a smaller frame size? Thanks for any input.

Welcome to the bike forum. A 24" will give u alot more bottom end,but you'll grt more top end with a 26".How tall are you???

For the low handlebars you could try something like BMX bars, they will give you that more upright riding position.
