Steam -- just for the record and general info
you can soak your flared leather seat in a suitable container of water for a few days
then remove -wrap to reshape with any simply string/cord and let dry then
coat with baby oil or more costly leather finish product

Thanks for the info, I have actually done that already...held its shape for a month or so...back to flared..not sure why. I have a few Brooks saddles on my pedal bikes luckily so I'm relatively familiar with this technique (mom was also a leather worker) , this seat gets reg profide treatments and stays supple and comfy, just dosent like to keep its shape. I have been thinking about punching and lacing it like a b17 imperial, just haven't made it down to Tandy to get a hollow leather punch
