bairdco a guy who makes cool bikes Jul 22, 2010 #4 less rolling resistance will increase speed. don't expect much, though. depends on what tires. like, if you were riding some crazy rugged mountain bike tire and switched to some crazy slick road bike tire, you might gain a few mph.
