i need input on internal gear hubs.

im looking to put a internal gear hub on my 29er. i dont know what kind i should go with. or really much about them. I know i want around 8 speeds. and i dont want to trash it using it on my motorized bike. it needs to be well built. so input about any of this would be great. thanx.

The Rohloff mountain bike hub rear hub.
Rohloff Speedhub.
Its heavy and expensive (more than most bikes!) but strong, I've yet to see one come in broken.
Dont bother with Nexus, they cant take it.
Give it a look.

thanx. thats the kind of info i need. and i was looking at nexus alfine and sturmey archer. so ill cross nexus off the list.
