I installed an 80cc kit on my beach cruiser, but when it starts it immediately dies...

Post some pictures of what you have is a good start... Where you got the kit from etc... The biggest thing about these engine kits is you have to clean out the inside and remove the casting flash from the ports... I wouldn't recommend trying to run any motor straight from the box it's only going to be problems that can fixed with a basic tear down and once inside we can help you with the set up
