I've had 4 fuel tanks spring leaks in past year. It's always on the rear threaded post where the pressure is highest on the holding posts. The leak is where the post comes out of the bottom of the tank. 2 of these tanks were special paint jobs with lovely transfers etc so I don't like having to scrap them. My old tanks of 3 years or more don't leak so I reckon the new ones have quality fade.
Does anyone know how I might fix a tiny leak on a rear post given that I can't get to it inside the tank with solder. Is there any stuff on the market that might help fix a tiny leak?
