Honda GX-35 / Walbro - where's this spring go?

I took apart the carb to fit the repair kit and a spring fell out and I am not sure where it goes back. Here is the Walbro WYB-16C drawing I have that seems to match the carb but I don't see a spring:

So, where does the spring go? Part #16 is "Spring - Metering Lever" but the diagram does not show a spring there.

I've never taken one of these apart so I'm not sure. Is it part of the throttle assembly?

No, it was inside the carb. Somewhere. I think it sat on top of part #16 but am not sure which way up and will open up the carb and take a look in the morning.

there is a Metering Spring, but that goes below the metering system. It is not the spring I have.
