Honda 70 Restoration

I had a red and white Honda 50 in 1968. Think I paid $75 for it and rode it for a couple of summers and then a friend wanted it so I sold it. It is one of the ones I wish I'd kept.

Did huge off road miles on SC logging roads,

That was the first motor bike I ever rode. A guy in our town rented them by the hour, 1965, I believe. It lead me to buy an s65 shortly afterward, great fun! Two weeks ago I bought a 1980 ct110 trail bike with less than 2k miles. It is like new, just put a seat cover for a torn spot $21 bucks on line. I will use it at my cabin in the ozarks, miles of forrest trails. I am anxious to follow your experience.

It shouldn't smoke. It's not a 2 stroke. Maybe you have some stuck rings?

Bore can't be bad either with 800 miles.

I agree with the don't remove good stock paint too.

Fix the smoke and buff it to a shine. Put some new tires on it. Have fun!
