Most people here won't like that big rubbery bushing on the front. It might work, but rubber in motor mounts is mostly frowned upon.

Jackshaft looks solid - nice tension adjusting bolts. Something don't look right, though. Like the jackshaft axle is "floating" between those dropout brackets.
 
I know about the rubber, I tried flat pieces on pedestal type mounts that didn't last long.

I,was more concerned on the rest of that build and what was used for the jackshaft.
 
Thats a good idea, depends on what he used for bearings. It will spin 3+ time faster then a bike wheel. Years ago i used 2" pipe with bottom bracket crank bearings,and it worked out great. Don't ask for details that was 55+ years ago,LOL..............Curt

He is looking for info on it, LOL I was looking at the motor mount. It is solid rubber on a bolt no tube to crush, and with the flat strap instead of U bolt it might just be good to go. .............Curt
