azbill: somehow I missed your post on the 72t sprocket. Did it cost extra to have him make it or was it a regularly priced sprocket. That would put my top speed at about 19.8 mph with the 2.25 inch pully. It would also put my pulling power about where I think it needs to be. I feel I would be happy with this setup.
 
no, it was 64$ for sprocket (18 + 5.50) + adapter (35 + 5.50) :)
not sure, but it might be the biggest he has made so far ;)
Jim was really cool on the phone and I am eagerly waiting the coming 'grunt' I expect the 72 to produce (^)
