The Florida National Scenic Trail:
The trail runs the length of Florida from Gulf Islands National Seashore (south of Pensacola) to Big Cypress National Preserve (west of Miami).
In all, it passes through three national forests, two units of the National Park System, two military bases, a national wildlife refuge, six state forests, two units of the state park system, three state wildlife management areas, five water management districts, local government lands, the University of West Florida, and fifteen cities.
1,500 miles long!
