I used .120 as it bends better without kinking. But that's way overkill. I would use .065 - .095 DOM(drawn over mandrel) or so if I was doing it again. Less if you are using a Chinese engine and lightweight parts. My Worksman wheels are a bit heavy. That is still likely larger than you need.
