For the record, your model's the Onex; the M.B 29er from Genesis is called a Two-Nine. Just sayin'. When I see "Genesis 29", I automatically think the M.B version (which I have).
The cruiser wheels have more spokes than the Two-Nine, and they're not evenly divisible by 9, which makes sprocket-mounting problematic using the standard rag-joint.
