Hi all,
Thanks for the Add.
I just picked up this sweet ride and will be getting it up and going real soon. Bike is a females Monark Rocket (with added top tube and engine mounts) that appears to be from the 50's. After I get the paint off of the serial number I will be able to get actual date. Engine is a Russian KO with serial #00030.

I'll call that different and unique.

Out of curiosity what's with the location of the carb? I'm not seeing a reed valve or an intake port. How does that work?

this is the carb. (in yellow circle). from what I understand it is rotary ported from the crank shaft.

Not that it matters W.E. but yours is a boys frame; A local SE Wisconsin antique shop had a women's framed bicycle with no top tube. Good luck with the engine.
