this will be my first build. I've been studying the info here and am wondering about placement of the chain tensioner? closer to the engine or axle, or in the center? seems to me that in the center it would take the least stress. also wondering if there is a parts dealer in this area.
 
welcome 2 lazy 2 pedal glad you joined the forum! Iam another IL rider and were having a rally in Decatur on the 27th of Sept. 40-50 riders are supposed to be there. you will have tons of fun on the new ride!
