Hey everyone.
I've been reading here for awhile now. Wanted to get started on something about a year or so ago, but a move and several job changes pushed that back. Lots of great stuff on here, and I'm hoping to get some questions answered and maybe be able to contribute as well.

I'm looking to do a 3 horse B&S build, initially in a Cranbrook frame. Doesn't need to be street legal.
I'm just looking to make a unique pit bike that I can run around the race track. We go to the drags alot and my son occasionally races. Get tired of hoofing it around the track.

This first build is really going to be sort a a test project to see what works and what doesn't. Hope to get a better frame for the next one an apply what I learn. I was really inspired by this:

Really like the bottom bracket/jack shaft solution.

I have had alot of motorcycle experience over the years, though I do not ride anymore, and a reasonable amount of mechanical aptitude (I hope!). Looking forward to it.

Howdy & welcome to the clubhouse!!

Sounds like you've got an 'adventurous' first build in mind. Best of luck!
