Hello back. Welcome. I know what kind of engine that is, but what is a 'cheap Chinese transmission,' and what was it built to fit on?

I think "cheap Chinese transmission" is probably the Hoot. If you are using a EH035 with a 5/8" shaft from the centrifugal clutch then it might work. Be warned though that the Hoot is notoriously unreliable.

Howdy Gaga. I have thought about trying that a lot. If I am getting your thought correctly, take the lower end off a chinagirl and use it as a tranny/drive and the clutch? Could be done would take a lot of work. I always come back to easier to start from scratch but would really enjoy seeing it done. Is a great idea. Get all those goodies. Reduction, clutch and that lil gen all in one box.
