Headlight needed

I'm doing a clean-up on a bicycle for a fella I met. The bike is probably a 1969 model, department store type (think Hawthorne etc)
The light originally mounted to the front fender, with two wires running back to the fake tank, where it was powered by two D batteries. I would like to replace this with one that has the batteries inside itself, and mounts to the fender, and looks period... ie old.

Any info would be helpful... thanks!

Actually found a NOS bubble lens light for about $40. I'll try to post pics. We'll see...

All done! It was about $40.00 from ebay. It bolted right on with some nylon washers, and it's a pretty good fit. The lady that got it for a birthday gift is happy.
