The sheet of carbon fiber showed up so i can cut the new reed what i am planning on doing is a single pedal so one per side then shaving the center out of the cage. Then finishing with a really fine sand paper on a block to make all sides the same i know one corner is low and not sealing

any thoughts would be appreciated
 
I think the .5mm is a little to thick for the bike should have gone with a sheet of
.3mm next time a dremmel with a cutoff wheel works well you can drill into carbon fiber with normal bits but you should put a block of wood under the spot your drilling
