Gt5 Stroker

I want to raise my jug without cutting it.
If i use the PK / Jet piston i will get 4mm of popping out piston ??
Are these the piston for the Jet motor and who sells em??
Thanks I promise to share my results.

I'm thinking New Skyhawk GT 66 with this 4mm offset piston and a spacer.
Fully ported out with expansion chamber.

If i remember correctly the intake port is allmost completly open at BDC.
I'm confused here.
Raising the jug i'm sure is needed but this would open the port more.
About put the top of the piston flush with the bottom of the port at BDC.

Iv'e even heard of people filing down the top of the piston to somoothe it out.

Am i thinking wrong here???.duh.

on a 2 stroke the intake port is only open to the bottom of the piston, the fuel is sucked into the crank case under the piston on the up stroke, then it is pumped into the cyl through the transfer ports on the down stroke, you must be thinking of 4 strokes and flat heads.

this is why i disagree on triming the skit of the HT, it just opens the port sooner and gives it less time to suck vacuum on the case.

Well then i'll have to see what i was thinking there.
Got a new motor coming soon.
I will be tearing it down and doing some work before i mount it.
I guess this time i'll take my time and documet things better
