I have a "" kona (dew) road bike.It has
28x 1 3/8 x 15/8 rims 8 gears,i would like to put a 80cc 2 stroke motor with shift kit.
need all info.. will rims hold up to speed like my wildfire go's 35_37..

Issue I have with road bikes is the timy tires, light frame and lite brakes, oh and the not so comfy seat.
One day I was on my road bike pedaling and coming up on a parked van with a driver in it and a car coming behind me. I chose the safe side of the van to go around. Pretty bumpy in the ding weeds.
I like knowing I can dive off road if necessary- for this a mountain bike is the way to go. Plus you get decent brakes.
