Starting new build. It consists of a Giant Revel 2 Mountain bike with a Staton 18.75:1 Outside Gear/Chain kit mounted to a Chung Yang GP460.

Any Ideas for a gas tank? I do not want a chineese peanut one that comes in the 68/80cc kits. They leak at the petcock and gas cap. Thanks

I'm with you on the gas tank issue. I'm currently combing through aliexpress, there are options but guessing how it will mount is a bit of trick. Small pit bike metal tanks for around $90, or plastic options $50 and less

There are some cool and DIY seat post mounted "bean Can" tanks. Might be close though.

Literally a can mounted to the post. Looks really cool and really cheap.

Dunno. Just a thunk

Been using a 460 for years. First was axle mounted chain drive, then rack mounted spindle. Finally the center mounted 8 speed that breaks derailleurs and chains. Need an IGH and beefy chain. I bet that saton will hold up. You may need to strengthen the mounts fot it though. Good looking build bud!

It might not look cool. But it is functional and doesn't leak like those chineese peanut tanks that come with the kits.
