People will pour a bit of gas into the plug receptacle before they put their plug back in to get a start when it won't start. I guess it won't work if there's no compression. Does anyone have any experience or insight with that on a motorized bike?

If something hasn't started in a while I'll turn it over a little with the plug wire off to prime it...
