Gas Mix?

I know I recall recomendations to use a different gas mix than what they say in the Grubee Skyhawk manual, I am hoping someone will refresh me on what is the best mix to use for break-in and then after? The manual says 16-18 to 1 for break in and 25 to 1 after? I am just about to mix up my first tank and want to get it right!

While waiting for a reply I did lots of searching and reading, all kinds of differing opinions. I decided to start out my break in period with a 20:1 mix ratio....

My thinking is 8 oz. to one gal. for first 50 miles then 4 oz. to one gal. At least that is what I have run across the most in my reading and what I am following.

Start with a 24:1 mix then after a couple of gallons move down to 32:1. That's a good rule of thumb followed by most. It seems to work.

There is typically a lot of bad information in the kit (Chingrish) manuals. The 16:1 recommendation is one of them. Too much oil
