fuel tank question

I'm making a weed eater frame mount bike and i had to remove the original tank to mount it
so now i need to mount a new tank and was wondering how far up the carb will pull fuel. i know they have little fuel pumps in them but i don't know if it's strong enough to pull fuel up a foot or so

A foot? Yeah, it should. You may want to put a check ball on the fuel line for any longer of a reach though.

well i think i'll just mount it higher up and not have to worry about it having enough suction
