Break in 7 oz per gallon ( about 18-1) after 2 tanks 4 oz per gallon
(about 32-1) and personally I throw in about 3 small capfulls of
marvel mystery oil but you'll hear all diff opinions about that
 
now you guys are talking about 4 strokes right that's takes straight gas right?I have a friend that has 4 stroke just wanted to clean the fuel sytem a little.Thanks
 
Marine is for water cooled engines, your motor may run hotter using that.

But I guess some marine oil is OK, from what I have read.

No, we assumed 2 stroke.

Use a carburetor cleaner, spray it in and drain it out.

you gotta give us more info man to problem solve :)
however Marvel I have used in cars with great result just follow the directions
I used it, dad used it, granddad used it, helps prolong spark plug keeps deposits
down and runs cleaner IMHO
 
The carburetor on a small engine is simple enough that you should be able to do a complete teardown, clean out, and rebuild pretty easily. A can of carb cleaners help. Just keep an eye on the order that you take it apart.
