Float level?

Hello. I have a Speed carb (the version that looks exactly like the NT- no petcock, just an inscription "Speed" cast on the outside). I tried to fix a no-idle issue by changing the float level but it only made things way worse. And me being me, I didn't measured the level at the begining. Does someone nows how they are set-up at the factory?

I don't know your particular carb but if you hold it upside down and look for the float arm to be level with mating surface where the bowl goes on, you'll be as good as any carb I've ever used. Works for me.

This carb doesn't really have float arms. The float is donut shaped and is guided only by the emulsion tube but is not attached to anything.
