This is my first build i acquired a bike with a 2 stroke on it and after taking the it apart i decided id just get a new one because the cylinder walls gettin some wear. This bike and motor was terrible whoever had it did not take care of it. So I decide to take apart the bike as well as cleaned, sanded, painted(galaxy colorshift), reassembed
and regreased everything.l. Also got new slim tubes tires, cables, brakes, seat, I honestly should of just got a new bike idk what i was thinking. The new motor i purchased and am installing is the
Zeda 80 Complete 2 Stroke 80cc Bicycle Engine Kit - Triple 40 Motorized Gas Bike - Firestorm Edition plus 36 sprocket hub adapter plus spacer adapter, performance head, carb and exhaust
I had a problem with both tubes being a tad to big like it almost fit and what it looks like the person did to fit on the old engine was they bent the studs just abit anyways this is what i did. I need to still get a ubolt that will fit on thr seat tube but i put one there so you can see what goes there. read you arent suppose to use rubber but i did my instructions manual said to but not sure exactly where.

The rear mount has to be solid, if not you'll get a lot of vibration. I can think of a few ways to make a custom mount but if you don't have the tools it won't help. I would measure the seat tube and find a thick wall pipe that closely measured the same width I.d. and cut it length wise and use half as a saddle to weld to flat stock. I've made a couple over the years.

It’s weak. Those u-bolts are going to crush your frame tubes and weaken them at those points, and get loose at the same time. What Greg said, but if not you can find the ubolts that have the cast clamp pieces to distribute the clamping force. Use solid steel plate like 3/16” instead of that weak sandwich you got goin on.

If the studs on the motor clear the frame tubes, you can just grind the stuck mount blocks to fit the tubes.

The front sandwich and ubolt came with the kit so lets say it does break if change it or not just wondering will i get a new one/refund or something like that since i was just following the directions on the manual? I have a 3 year insurance

Bairdco gave you some good advice, if the rear studs will clear the seat tube you can grind or file the stock mount to fit. You want the rear cradle to wrap around the bar to distribute the pressure to as much area as you can. I have found that no matter what the directions say rubber doesn't work for me. I also found the thicker the rear strap the better. All the info we give has been learned the hard way.

The mount on the bike in the picture below I made, notice I took up the space between the mount and frame with metal not rubber. The problem with rubber is it will continue to flatten out and cause a loose and vibrating engine. If you notice the rear strap on the back of the seat tube it is probably 3/16 thick.
