Felt Shelby Cruiser

Today's paper carried a blurb in the automotive section on the Shelby versioned Felt @ $999. To my knowledge, production is neither number nor limited (1 of 1000 etc.). Aside from a few minor adornments and color, as a novice I could easily confuse this bike with the Slater selling for $400+ less. Are there others here that feel like I, that Felt is only contributing to their future demise with stifled creativity?

I kind of see it that way.....you can only do so much with the same frame when you're trying to sell to a mass market. For $1000, it should at least come with front and rear hydrolic disc-brakes and a few other trick components to justify it, honestly.

Nah, they are contributing to Shelby's wallet, just like the buyers will be.

Hmmm, I wonder how much the "Rolex" bike will sell for?
