Awesome.
Were did you get the engine mounts? So simple and clean with jackshaft bearings...... KOOOOl

The rear is stock Sick Bike Parts HD Shift Kit hdwr. The front I fabbed up to mt cleanly to the accessory mounts on the frame.

Cheers!

Almost finished! Just the final connections,a few adjustments, some minor assembly (the front Schwalbe's in the mail) and it's maiden voyage time!

The Score:

Trek 3700 21 sp w/ MR
bIG bORE "Slant Head"
Sick Bike Parts HD Shift Kit, LoPro Air Filter, Black Pipe and Brake Lever
FBC OneOff Fr. Eng. Mt.
Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tyres (only 1 on rear right now)
Scott M/C Grips (Made In America)
SRAM GripShifter
Delta Sherpa and PostHaste QR Racks
Louis Garneau Bags
KMC x8 Silver (stretch resistant) Chain
Surplus 1 Gal plastic rack mounted tank

Lookin' like a 2 wheeled truck the rack system, as you'll see in the fotos, is modular. It allows for plenty of hauling space in many configurations while keeping the gas in back and out of the way.

I love SBP's new mounting system!

The JackShaft has been reinforced by drilling/tapping the shaft ends and fitting screws and washers. "Just a little insurance"

All 'n' all looks like it should truck along for many miles! (HuckerSteve must have >2000 mi on his)

Cheers!

Maiden Voyage out' the way!

Whew, she runs and shifts, rides and stops real nice!

Now it's time for some rainy miles and chain stretching.

Cheers!

Runnin' ok this morning but surging a bit up top. Road about 20 mi. and had H2O in the bowl on the way home (last 5 mi(drained it 1nce to no avail).

Got home and cleaned the bowl out and changed to a 68 main. Now she gets on the pype and stays on it up into the hi revs. Not perfect but pretty good for the 1st twenty.

Runnin 20:1 syn/blen for the 1st Gal. Then it's owner will choose what he wants to use. Will recommend 32:1 or less oil depending on oil of choice.

Easilly does 45 mph! It's OBSCENE!

Cheers!

WOW, very nice Evan, I like it. It is just how a MB should be. Your customer will be pleased I am sure.

Thanks Ghost

Paul is stoked about his bike! He has 2 other 2 smoke 1 speeder cruisers, a Whizzer, 3 eBIKE's, and now a 7 speed B@!!$ to the W@!! StreetFighter!

We don't have a speedo but it's definately pullin' 45mph w/o spankin' on the new motor.

With the Schwalbe's contacting the road it is really a confidence inspiring ride. No less inspiring is the new mount from SBP; the kit went together very easilly w/ few modifications and little effort compared to a standard 1 speed build.

Real motorcycle grips go on all my builds. Once you try it you'll never go back!

The result is exhilarating! Fun! LightWeight!

Cheers!
