I've certainly thought about it. They look like good bikes for the job.
I've wondered, though, if chain clearance around the tire would be a problem.

http://motorbicycling.com/showthread.php?t=55686 ..Here you go. You eather have to offset the engine for chain clearance or run a jack shaft. The shift kit jack shaft should work also with some mods if there is room...................Curt

Yea here are a few of my fat tire motor bike builds the mags I used are for fat tire bikes and the offset of the hub for the disk brake mount is perfect for mounting the sprocket. The grey bike I got 4" wide hoops on em with 11 gauge motorcycle spokes.
