Is there such a thing as a $750-1000 26" front wheel Lifepo "kit" that is fast and easy to install- oh yeah, and dependable?

This will be going on a 1953 X-53 Western Flyer

Im going to be spending 100's of hours on the bike as is, I can not afford another 100 hours in a electrical learning curve and mistakes

HELP!!!
 
Sry tv, don't want you to think you are being ignored... :-)

Electrics are just too far out of my price range for me to experiment with much.

I got a razor e200, though! I'm gonna put it on a bicycle...
It's one of those 'round tuit' projects.
Cost was $10 and a quick throttle repair, so far.
Now I need to find a charger for it... cheep!

So sorry TV, I'm at my camp clearing brush and running power, rarely get online out here!

Try a Mac, it's a pretty robust geared set up. 30-35mph with decent acceleration. They don't push running 60V but I've run 'em with 68V. Get the heavy motor wire upgrade. E-mail those guys and ask about a front wheel kit, I'm sure they'll throw one together. http://emissions-free.com/catalog/c5_p1.html Paul is a reliable supplier, important when buying from China.

Their batts maybe fine, yet I've owned several PING LifePo4 and they pay you back after some years, just don't get your bike stolen!

The PING price will hurt but not so painful for the motor and kit. I'd love a torque 10wind to run at 60V but you still find good performance even at 48V.
