exhaust and muffler

so i am about to order the exhaust that greg and some others told me to get and i found a muffler that i hope might fit i am posting the pics if anyone used a muffler like this on that exhaust let me know i dont want to order something again that i can not use......i honestly have no clue if this would even fit.

Gill I had thought about that same silencer, but having a couple of stock mufflers and a welder I made mine. If it has a good way to clamp/attach to the pipe it should work. Be sure to add a clamp to secure the silencer to the frame, mine broke the pipe mount at the pipe and I had to weld it. After adding the clamp on the silencer it has been ok.

The pipe by itself is unbelievably loud, I couldn't ride mine, didn't want the neighborhood mad at me either.

The pipe helped low-end the most on mine, top end wasn't that much better. On the larger engine more top end may be possible, the pipe was probably designed for the larger engine.

I got a 50 I have had for years, it's going to get ported and Pouch head, better mag. So might as well do the pipe as well. Got a link or name? ...........Thanks Curt

Mine came from Amazon, I have seen them on ebay as well, it's called a "fat belly pipe" I think.

I put a silencer on mine. I had to go to the hardware store and get some pipe fittings for the size difference, then I wrapped it and clamped.
