engine reving out of control

my skyhawk engine has been giving me trouble. when i try to start it once i finally get it on it starts accelerating even though i let of the throttle. I have no clue what it could be, need some help.

Air leak at carb/manifold or throttle cable housing out of it's socket is first things cceck.

i had the same problem. turns out, to cable was too tight and holding the throttle open. do you have the cns "high performance" carb? i do.

Take off your carb and look down the middle. Do you see the brass cylinder or the needle? I originally put mine together with the brass cylinder stuck in WOT. Luckily I fixed that error before trying to run the engine
