You are gonna want the pedals, not sure the torque of the motor or your weight. I feel like pedaling to take off will greatly benefit the clutch and motor, not to mention the legality of it no longer being a "bike".

I noticed in one of your pictures that you have the gas tank reversed.

Due to the bike’s top tube angle, ya might have fuel delivery issues.
Did you resolve this issue?
If not, you'll run out of gas after a few miles.

You could drill a hole and install a new fuel outlet at the fuel cap end of the tank.

Orr, you could extend a small-diameter copper tubing thru the fuel outlet to reach the "sump" at the fuel cap end of the tank.
Then use a brass compression fitting to seal the copper tubing at the original threaded fuel outlet.

Or you could install the tank in its correct position.

Or you could move the tank to a bike rack above the rear tire.

Or you could leave it as is, and refill the tank every 10 miles or so.

Thanks for checking it! I think i'll reduce the clamp size a bit and see how that works in letting me get some clearance for the tank. the biggest problem I face is that outlet at the end of the tank. It collides with the mount :(

You could grind some clearance off of the mount.

Or raise the tank.

I'm presuming the engine is set back as far as it can, on the top tube.

Yep, the engine is set all the way back, any further and the sparkpluyg wont have any room. I think the tank raising is a great idea! Have any idea as to how it can be done?
