electric start

does it work out for you? Isn't the 212 shaft taper different from the gx200. Don't we have to give up the billet flywheel, and limit the RPM to below 6k or so?
 
I saw a youtube video earlier today of a guy fitting an arc 6619 to a predator 212. So i guess the electric start for the gx series would work. But you already know that... hahaha. I was going to that route but don't know if the cast flywheel would explode at high rpm though. So I didn't pursue it any further. Let me know how it turn out for you. I'm interested.
 
You can buy a clone engine with it on it already...around $200 I think....I'll try to find a link later
 
I saw a carroll stream with electric start for $169 +shipping. I think my only concern is with the governor removed, would the flywheel be intact. I think itchybird found a way to attach the ring gear to the billet flywheel but there weren't too many info on it.
