I am always looking for one of a kind, rare or strange bike parts and I like change so I decided to do something with my handlebars.
Let me tell you, trying to come up with an original design for handlebars is not easy, but I did come up with something original.
It's made from one set of straight handle bars ( for the handle area ) one of those steel bars that roll up garage doors wrap around when you roll them up. Two sockets to put inside the handlebars for something to weld to. But you can do whatever....And welded slow and deep with 7014.
I used jb metal putty as filler to try and give it a well finished look
It's my prototype so it's not perfect as the finished product will be but tell me what you think.
A friend said it looks "pentagram-ish" or goth. When I built it I had my horoscope Taurus the bull kinda in mind.
Idk... But if anybody has any other ideas I would be happy to build them and show them. Just send me a rough sketch.
I'm getting them powder coated tomorrow but I will post a pic of them when I get it done
