disc brakes on Monark2 forks

I just bought the Monark2 springer fork with disc brake adapter, & want to buy disc brake & 20" wheel.
Was told it needs a 8" rotor by the seller on ebay.
been hard to find a 20" double wall wheel that is ready for disc brake.
Found Weiman DM-30 had good reviews & very nice price ($30), but looks like I need to change the hub.

My question is- will most any disc brake fit the Monark2 adapter with a 8" rotor?

Looking at the size of a 8" rotor- seems like the rotor is too big.

hi i have a sunlight springer fork and bought a venice motorbikes disc brake adapter. used it on a old dropcenter rim 6" disk brake rotor would not work caliper hit spokes.
so i bought a 8" rotor and a 203mm 8" adapter and bolted it on an vawala it cleard the spoked and 203mm 8" rotor stops on a dime with less lever pressure. (one finger) much better than 6".
