digital tach update question?

got my tach today but need to know how many times the spark plug sparks in 1 rpm? i think the answer in 1 time per revolution because its a 2 stroke motor. and 2 times per revolution for a 4 stroke? right?

2 Strork fires ever revolution. I know that your 4 stroke lawnmower fires ever revolution
and car engines fire ever 2 revolutions.
I'm gussing that the 4 stroke engines used for our bikes probably fire every revolution.
