difference between a heavy duty and a reinforced chain

Total newbie question, if someone would point me in the right direction for a tutorial on chain it would be great.

I am specifically looking for information regarding the bushing size, 5/32 vs 3/16, what are the differences, if any, in alloys.

Any guidance would be most appreciated.
