dampening idea

That picture is a little deceiving. That's looking down about a 75% grade, the left front wheel is completely buried and I had to climb out the driver's side window.

I have a front mount welded to my frame and I use two brackets to clamp the mount. I have a piece of rubber from a radiator hose for dampage. The thing I noticed that helps with vibration is having all your bolts tightened. Sorry no pics.

pipe insulation at the motor mounts helps, but my biggest gain came with simply smoother, more narrow tires.

The suspension seat post is also invaluable, and a sprung fork is good too.

Thick cruiser grips and bars that are perpendicular are I think both an improvement for vibration and a great safety feature. I use BMX bars with a small 8 inch rise.
