So its been getting worse. My pedals keep pedaling with the bike. Its impossible to ride at this point. I need to replace the wally world wheel but do you aall think the front crank is bad to?:-||

As long as the bearings are good there shouldn't be any problem with the crank.

It sounds like your rear hub is the issue. It isn't freewheeling. What bike do you have? Got pictures of the hub?'

If it's a cruiser like what I think tom is getting at then your hub could just be too tight. If it's a mountain bike your sprocket side might be catching a little bit and might need greased up. I had the problem with a mountain bike and it was just catching a hair and making the chain jump when I wasn't pedaling. Was able to knock what grime was there lose with some pedaling and some WD-40.

I fixed it after taking the back wheel off. The bearings on the pedal side and inside the sprocket were busted. Fixed them with a replacement wheel. Thanks 2 door!

You're welcome, Lucajo. We're glad you found and fixed the problem.
Have fun and please, ride safe.
