I do have an idea to offset it.... Use a flat plate of steel like the one supplied for bikes with big front down tubes, and drill new holes for a u bolt, and do the same for rear.
Also thout of something similar but instead of a ubolt use some scrap tube cut in half that's a correct size to fit over the front down tube and weld tabs onto that cut in half tube to bolt onto the new flat plate on the mounting studs out of the engine, sounds confusing I know, but similar to the SBP large ubolt mount.
