Couple of interesting DIY eBike threads

I was searching for info on a DIY eBike and ran into these two threads over at HobbyKing:

Both are a lot more sophisticated than anything I think I could do, but it's interesting to see what can be done with some cheap brushless motors.

Yeah, I've been more intrigued with RC motored ebikes than the hub motors but they are much more DIY. The performance some of these guys get is astounding, check e-s and the other forum for some threads on this type of build.
