Went to Radio Shak and bought a micro button, drilled out the left grip and also drilled through the handle bar for the wiring. Nice addition. happycheapskate New Member Oct 10, 2011 #2 Looks great. I used a horn button as a kill switch on a lawn mower once. Worked great till my sweaty hand made a circuit (POW). Does this have any kind of insulation beside the tip of the button? Is it just a momentary switch?

broke and hungry New Member Oct 11, 2011 #3 It is a momentary switch. The grip butt end is plastic, what little insulation I used was just silicone after soldering the connection. Pipe Bomb Bikes Going slow, Only faster! - Pipe Bomb Bikes
