CNS carb, cant get the damn thing tuned in!

just waiting on the engine to cool down a bit so i can chec the spark plug, i suspect its fouled.
update in a bit.

so after closing up the plugs gap, (which im not sure solved anything...) i noticed that it will start and idle with the choke off. under load, it runs like it should as long as the choke is closed. too rich?
plug looks ok.

sounds like a intake air leak , I'd check the intake gaskit seal,maybe make sure the flandse is flat and use a little sealent on it Later Bob
 
I had one on mine..You just have to keep messing with it till you find the right setup....I think it was 2nd groove on the needle and 1.5 turns out on the screw and had to lightly get into the throttle slowly for it to work ok.....I have my setup in the posts about the cns carb in here somewhere.....
