Clutch pad material

So I've been studying and found something... Woven brake lining for steel drums... Not sure if the green pads I got from china are of a similar composite... Haven't tried it but it's in a box of clutch related parts for when that time comes... The black which you can't get anymore is hi friction the green is med/hi and the tan is med...

You can use brake pad lining too,

Greasy Chris talked about cutting the pad material off from an old pair of brake pads
For whatever reason people have their pads changed while theirs still alot of meat on em
IDK if ya got access to used auto parts, But it could be Free
I know how much you like to repurpose stuff

I thought about that... The uniform thickness of the sheets plus it's new stock so it's clean... I'm looking at a bandsaw and sander that's got a vaccume port... I've got just about every type of pad out there... The green ones that come with the sealed bearing clutch look like green gripper I also like the gears that come with those...so I figured I'd try the composite which is the brake pads...
